My blog has been "broken" for quite a while. User error, I am sure. Every time I would find a moment to work on it, my frustration won. Yesterday, WB sat down with me, working on two computers, we were able to get things figured out. I only lost one post that I am aware of and hopefully, all will be well from now on.
There is no way to update what has happened since I was here last. Let's just say there were incredible joys and deep sorrows. As always, I try to be grateful for the joy and learn from the sorrow.
I hope to post more regularly from now on. I know a lot of you have enjoyed the photos of the bobcats who like to hang around here. I will start there. Mama and her two babies came to visit. Like many siblings, one was a dare devil while the other was cautious. Mama found a dove for dinner while one baby climbed a tree and the other looked nervous about it. Baby managed to get down and they all enjoyed dinner. Luckily, my kitchen window was clean enough so I was able to shoot through it. I am constantly distracted from the work at hand when I look out that window.
Thank you to all who are still even checking Among the Saguaros. I look forward to catching up with you all.

Welcome back, Barbara! I was just wondering about you this morning. I'm happy for your joys--and so very sorry for the sorrows--while you've been away. May a return to blogging provide focus and healing. It's really good to see you here tonight.
you do capture the most gorgeous cat pics... i would be so tempted to move them into my house, just gorgeous! i only ever see them when neighbors have chickens, otherwise i see foxes and deer daily. welcome back~
Welcome back.
I was looking at your blog name a few days ago and wondered.
Haven't seen a bobcat for a while, we see more mountain lions.
cheers, parsnip
So fun to discover your post in my Feedly this morning! You take the most amazing photos -- and to think you have this kind of wildlife right outside your kitchen window! Roadrunners are the most "exotic" things we've spotted in our suburban backyard!
Good to "see" you again!
So glad you're back (those pesky computers)! I love the bobcat photos, and am looking forward to more tortoise and table setting images as well. How's the weather out there in the desert Southwest?
I have missed you! It's a happy sign that you and WB figured out the puzzle and you are back in blog land. Yes, we do need to celebrate the joy and learn from the sorrows. Welcome 'home''!
Welcome back! I see you occasionally on Instagram, but only occasionally since I am so sporadic. I'm not sure I'd ever get anything done if I had the views (and wildlife) of your backyard.
So happy to see a post from you this morning! Glad you worked out your blog troubles and are back. I definitely wouldn't have wanted to miss this spring's edition of baby bobcats! Such a gift to be able to see them up close. Momma looks like she might have sampled a bit of that dove herself and the babies are so adorable! I would definitely get nothing done with a view like that. Welcome back!
So happy to see you back on your blog...and yes, I am one of the many that so enjoy your images, especially of those extra cute baby bob-cats.
Barbara, I saw your comment on Jain's blog and rushed over here to welcome you back and to say I am looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful photography. I am wishing you a happy summer! Linda
Good to see you back up and running. What incredible photos of such a beautiful animal. Nice!
Wow what an interesting view and subject matter you have to enjoy! It must feel especially good to get your computer/blog problem figured out. I don't know what's happened in your life but I hope things are better now and you can find happiness again. Thank you for visiting and your kind comments today!
Thank you for stopping by my blog at Curtain Queen Creates. I'm amazed by your pictures. Did you stand near them to snap the pics, or do you have cameras set up outside for automatic photos. They are beautiful creatures, for sure. Sorry to say, I'd be terrified of them! It sounds like you've made it through some trials and sorrows. I'm very sorry you've had to endure them. But, you seem to have a wonderful outlook and see the blessings in the good things in spite of it all. God is so good and gracious, even in the rough times. Don't know what I'd do without Him! How about you?
I´m glad you are back!
Have been looking in now and then and finally
a new post! :)
