Welcome autumn!

texture tuesday...

Leaves from the mountains. Gourd from the store. Weathered table from years of use and abuse. A little bit of late afternoon autumn light. I think I found some autumn in the desert.

I am continuing to try to learn more about Photoshop. Participating in Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday seems like a good way to do that. Thank you, Kim, for your generosity.

This is sooo good.
You have made wonderful use of the texture.I much prefer it when you can actually recognize the texture in the end result. Beautifully done.

You certainly found the light and created a richly hued fall still life.

Oh Barbara! This is a fantastic image and I think you're definitely getting both Photoshop and textures down! This image is so autumnal in feel, loving the leaves scattered all around the apple. This is great!

Autumn has come to the dessert for sure! Everything I know about Photoshop I have learned from Kim Klassen! Her explanations are so easy to understand and her textures are beautiful. This is just as nice!

This looks fabulous! Love it. I need to get more creative with my photographs.

I left you a message on the post below. I'm slow getting around this week (have had all sorts of craziness going on behind the scenes), but I am just so glad I got to see your tablescape. That little man is SO cute. If he goes missing, a magpie might have nipped him. ;-)

Sheila
