It's been a long time. I am trying to get back to normal life again. I did a simple outside table with a bit of "I deserve it, don't I?" shopping. Fruit plates are from West Elm.
I like simple even when the heat isn't my excuse.
The plates are a little stylized and maybe hard to see in my photos. This is an orange.

Hello Barbara,
I missed your posts with beautiful photos. You made such a nice table, inviting and simple, so repfreshing. Would love to sit there with you, waiting for the bobcats and watching the humming birds, laughing and talking.
Best greetings, Johanna
Welcome back! It has been a while. I want to be there with you and enjoy those funky fun plates and jump in the pool. I had a hard time focusing on the table as I was so distracted by the luscious pool! Isn't it fun that you can take a break, much needed, and come back when you want. I LOVE BLOGGING!
I've been missing your posts ... but I took a little break too. Great plates ... I acquired the Bee flatware a few weeks ago and just love it! Thanks for sharing ... thanks for dropping by to visit with me.
Barbara, it's wonderful to see you back! What a welcoming Summertime tablescape you've done. The pool makes a fabulous backdrop. I LOVE the funky angle of your final pic! Thanks for stopping by, too.

Welcome back! I like your new stylized plates! They are different and perfect for summer living, but I took a peek at your previous post with the peaches, and now I'm drooling! Awesome peaches!
What a great table and I love those plates!
So glad to find your post this week. You've been missed. Wonderful poolside tablescape. Around here it would have to be floating on the water with all the guests submerged...it is so danged hot! Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay
Barbara, that first photo -- the overhead shot -- is amazing! I think you "did good" on finding those cool salad plates. I have those orange gingham napkins, if they're from Crate & Barrel! I'm always happy to find a post from you in my reader.
I deserve it shopping is my favorite kind! Love your fun, summery stylized plates... makes me want to dive right into the pool & what's for dinner :-)
Barbara, I am so glad you are back and very appreciative of your visit. I see you've taken up right where you left off with great photos and always an appealing table. I'm glad to be in touch again.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, and I appreciate your nice comment. Please visit again. Your table setting is so colorful and fun, and I love the green pear plate!
What wonderful plates! They are so bright and cheerful, I wouldn't even want to cover them up with food!
Very neat. They look so cool, although I'm sure it's far from cool.
